Richard Bridgford spoke at UC Berkley on Monday, June 24 at a gun violence symposium hosted by several schools including the Civil Justice Research Initiative. ‘Can Litigation be a Tool for Reducing Gun Violence?’ brought together civil justice practitioners and scholars from different disciples to better understand gun violence litigation, share results of recent research and discuss strategies to reduce injuries from gun violence.
He is participating on a panel ‘The Status and Potential Impacts of Current Litigation Addressing Gun Violence,’ which covered his involvement in representing plaintiffs against MGM and other defendants in the Las Vegas mass shooting in October 2017.
