For Immediate Release
Today, January 13th, the law firm of Bridgford, Gleason & Artinian filed a complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court against Southern California Edison Company (“SCE”) regarding the Eaton Fire, which encompasses areas of Altadena and Pasadena. Our Eaton Fire lawyers allege that the wildfire was a preventable tragedy and warning signs were ignored.
Richard Bridgford of Bridgford, Gleason & Artinian stated: “Based upon our investigation, our discussions with various consultants, the public statements of SCE, and the video evidence of the fire’s origin, we believe that the Eaton Fire was ignited because of SCE’s failure to de-energize its overhead wires which traverse Eaton Canyon—despite a red flag PDS wind warning issued by the national weather service the day before the ignition of the fire. Our hearts go out to the many victims of this and the other Los Angeles fires. We will be holding informational meetings about the claims we are pursuing on behalf of victims of the Eaton Fire at the Pasadena Hilton next to the Pasadena Convention Center.
Bridgford, Gleason & Artinian is committed to ensuring that the full extent of the damages caused by the Eaton Fire is acknowledged, and that those responsible are held accountable. The Eaton Fire lawyers at BGA, led by Richard Bridgford, are prepared to pursue justice on behalf of the affected individuals and families.
