Eric Heinz from the San Clemente Times wrote about Bridgford, Gleason & Artinian’s second lawsuit filed in two weeks against a homebuilder for faulty copper pipes in Talega homes.
On Friday September 4, the law firm filed a suit against Pulte Home Corporation on behalf of a collection of homeowners in the San Clemente neighborhood. The lawsuit claims the contractors were aware of the short-term durability of copper pipes and went along with the construction anyway.
Like the separate August lawsuit against Standard Pacific Homes, the homeowners are seeking reparations for any damage caused by the copper pipes leaking, any additional economic loss from damages and attorneys’ fees.
Pulte built about 75 homes in Talega, according to the lawsuit. More than 3,000 homes make up the subdivision.
